2. Jeex dupe police give it a rest
I had NOT seen this and am glad I did

Sometimes dupes are essential to get wide distribution of an important story

I weish people were not so quick to delete or report dupes unless it is intolerably much

THIS story might have been missed if not supe.

Thanks for posting this link to the story

4. Don't read everything you (already) believe
Guys,

I agree that Bush is stupid, but the idea that he would attack Cuba is propostorous when there are much bigger countries he needs to address like Iran and N. Korea.

And, the article that quotes Ms. Guevarra is obviously a puff piece written by Castro's media relations people. First of all, there is a big difference between a bloquade and an embargo. A bloquade would force a stop of all trade between Cuba and the rest of the world.

In fact, every other country in the world trades freely with Cuba, and yet their economy teeters on extinction. It's handy to pin all of Cuba's problems on the big bad U.S. but in doing so, we all fall into the Republican mindset of black and white, good and evil.

Cuba's failed economy has ALOT more to do with the government's failed economic policies (central planning) than with the lack of U.S. trade. Anyone who doesn't see that has never taken an economics class. Even this engineer knows that much.

I'm voting against Bush this year, but I'm not buying a word of what's in that article.
