It is a complaint of average Americans that the media must turn back to real journalism and real debate about real issues.  It is a sad state of affairs that it takes a Jon Stewart to speak up for average Americans on journalistic integrity. With few exceptions, I find the media, to be political hacks rather than responsible journalists. I would love to see a responsible debate about real issues, which would require investigation, insight and objectivity.  It is much easier to mouth partisan soundbites and be led by political pundits into irrelevancy and smear campaigns. The media has largely abandoned public trust that is so important for a healthy democracy in favor of corporate profit and partisan politics. Where is the voice of reason? What is America media coming to when the only voice of reason is from comedy shows?”
I agree with Jon Stewart. Please help stop the partisan politics and corporate agendas. Push for the return to real investigative journalism and real issues of substance instead of the sensationalist talking point of the day. —Dana G. Mordue
