World Council of Churches - "God has no place in US politics"
Sorry if this is a dupe...I think it's dupe-worthy, though.

GENEVA - God has no place in politics and should not have been used by churches in the United States to influence the presidential election, a council representing 342 Christian groups around the world said.

The World Council of Churches (WCC) told U.S. member churches in a letter that they should not ask whose side God was on in an election but only offer "a moral and spiritual compass for their community, their nation and the world."

The letter by WCC General Secretary Rev. Samuel Kobia chided some U.S. churches for presenting God in partisan terms."

2. Nice timing!
What good will that do now? I, and many others, have been noting the threat that this ideology would present for several years now.

The concepts of that of that article should have literally been screamed by every non-delusional, non-Fascist denomination from the highest rooftops and mountains a long time ago!!!

Now, we have to deal with it as an American institution. Maybe the non-fringe Christian groups are starting to see that the Christo-Fascists are going to judge who is "sufficiantly Christian" enough. They might be smelling the persecution that awaits them.

4. We are going backwards with democracy
even some countries in South America think we are nuts with the "God thing" taking over our elections.
