Evacuations for Non-Battle Injuries Vastly Outnumber Those for Combat Wounds

"As of Sept. 30, more than 87 percent of the 14,452 U.S. soldiers medevaced to Army medical facilities from Iraq since the war began in March 2003 were suffering from disease or from non-battle injuries such as sprained ankles, lower back pain, heart palpitations and psychiatric disorders, military health officials said."

Does this suggest to you that there are only ~ 1500 actually wounded in battle?
