BC's Hart still pushing the RW agenda
Key problem with the cartoon. People who are rich rarely will admit it when in front of a bunch of poor people.

1. He did a famous anti-Semitic cartoon.
http://www.toonopedia.com/bc.htm

"However, his strip appearing on Easter, 2001, which depicted a menorah being transformed into a cross, may have gone too far. It was denounced not just by Jewish groups, but also by Catholic and Protestant clergy, as demeaning to Jews. The protests were made after the Sunday comics had already been printed, so it was impossible for newspapers to simply pull the strip — but many seriously considered dropping it permanently in response."

The quote is from Don Markstein's "Toonopedia", a terrific source of information on toons, including newspaper comics, comic books and animation.

Hart's been doing it for 20+ years (probably longer) and consequently, i've been seeing his work in less and less papers over the years

5. I am so sick of his crap..
He only does it every so often though-- if he did it every day I'd have better grounds to write the paper and tell them to MOVE it to another section nthe way they moved Boondocks because it was "too political."

6. I grew up near Binghamton, NY
where Mr. Hart is from.

He was just as much of a right wing asshole back when I was a kid as he is now.

7. B.C.?
When I was a kid, B.C. was my favorite comic strip. It's not in any of the Chicago papers now, and I wouldn't read it if it were. Here's what I can't figure out: how can a caveman strip named "B.C." promote Christianity. Doesn't B.C. mean BEFORE CHRIST?
