No Thanksgiving Visit?

Last year Mr. * made a "surprise visit" to the troops(who were on their way home) at Thanksgiving with much fanfare. Now with heavier engagement in Iraq he seems to have taken less notice of the military. What's up? Maybe it's harder to orchestrate a photo-op these days. Again the press is asleep on this issue. The question: "By the way Mr. President why did you choose not to visit the troops this year?"

1. the answer is simple

he couldn't get his hands on another plastic turkey. plus, he had to woo the president of spain for two reasons: 1. he snubbed the prime minister of spain by not taking his calls and 2. he had important things to discuss with spain before spain goes over to visit castro. (what does bush have up his sleeve with that?)
