Mr. Cranky's Culture War
"Mr. Cranky" is an online film reviewer who trashes EVERY film that comes out. If he gives it "one bomb," then it's Oscar material; junk like "Battlefield Earth" or this year's mucus-laced "Christmas" turds ("Surviving," "Kranks") will get multiple bombs or a nuke.

The forum beneath each review is a nice blend of idiots on both ends of the political spectrum. (There are a FEW posters who aren't head-injury victims.)

...which is great, because Cranky's writing about politics now. The latest article is about the whole FCC hoo-hah.

Enjoys. Shop around afterwards.

"...According to the FCC, it received 159 complaints about the episode, but Jeff Jarvis, television critic and creative director of Advance.net revealed through a Freedom of Information Act request that those complaints were really only made by three different people. Imagine the possibilities! Me and two of my buddies can get drunk, call up the FCC, and start the ball rolling on getting almost any television show yanked from the air. I think I'm going to complain that I can see Vanna White's nipples through her blouse on "Wheel of Fortune."

1. Great article, thanks for sharing...
I've always been a Mr Cranky fan, and he's hit the nail on the head with the FCC !

2. I find the Rush Limbaugh show very offensive
and I think I'll call the FCC all day tomorrow.

On second thought, would I have to actually listen to the show first to pick out some particular nasty bit? (Or is that just my liberal conscience speaking?)
