6. I had a look at the source code

there's a couple of lines of JavaScript in the head tag and that's what's causing the pops. I was OK because I have JavaScript permanently disabled. If you want to look at the link r/click on the IE icon and then click properties, then security, then custom level, then check the radio button titled "active scripting" and then click apply. If you need to reverse it for friendly sites with JavaScript in them go to security tab and click "default level" then apply.

I haven't downloaded Firefox yet and don't have a pop-up blocker because the satellite connection doesn't like the free pop-up blockers.

I almost dismissed your article out of hand, until I saw that it did not ORIGINATE from the UFO whack-jobs, but was merely repeated by them.
