Republicans Livid Over Challenge to Electoral Vote
Washington Dispatch

<snip>

Sen. Boxer described voters waiting in line until 4 a.m. in order to cast their vote while hundreds if not thousands of provisional ballots were rejected for a variety of illegitimate reasons.

The objection prompted separate debates within the Senate and the House. While the Senate remained cordial and respectful of the voting issues that were raised by the objection, House republicans took a different tone. Within minutes republicans accused democrats for being sore losers and dreaming up conspiracy theories due to a lack of an agenda. Congressman J.D. Hayworth flatly called it "sour grapes" at the end of a Limbaughesque diatribe. Florida Congressman Ric Keller hilariously blamed the objection on Michael Moore and Hollywood, referring to the "Michael Moore wing" of the Democratic Party.

While democrats remained calm in entering their objections and stories of voting irregularities for the annals of history, republicans set aside class and decorum to attack the minority party for occupying two-hours of their day.

Within the White House, President Bush and his wife made a public appearance to introduce their new puppy, Ms. Beazley. He had no comments on the objection to the Ohio vote, the ongoing violence in Iraq, the disaster in Southeast Asia, or the U.S. falling from a top ten list of nations within an annual report on economic freedom. However, the nation should be happy to know that the Bush's new puppy has been introduced to their other dog, Barney.

6. Perhaps From Unexpected Places
US falls off top free economies' list

The United States has dropped out of the list of the world's 10 freest economies in a ranking released by the conservative Heritage Foundation.

The organisation, which promotes low taxes and limited government regulation, said on Tuesday the US was tied for 12th place with Switzerland in the 2005 Index of Economic Freedom.

7. And I object to the slimy scum for stealing the election from both
Vice President Gore and Senator Kerry. I am equally disgusted with the theft from great Americans like Max Cleland. We have to get voting changes by 2006; these crooks will never win in a fair and free election.

9. That, in itself, is an accomplishment. Democrats should...
... try to do at least one thing every day that pisses off the repukes.

10. Ah yes, forget the economy - the dog is the top priority!
Anytime folks like Hayworth, Delay, and others start whining is a good time for all.

Is this what we need to do between now and 2006? Create some civil disobedience in the House and Senate, virtually delaying all other priorities until this is settled?

And why did no one bring up the fact that the US flocks to the Ukraine's aid when the slightest chance of vote fraud occurs in that country but they don't even bat an eyelash with the slight chance of it occurring here.

Was anyone else physically sick listening to Delay today? I mean Delay talking about fraud?!? That's ironic!

To quote Mike Malloy, "Have I mentioned how much I hate these people?"
