Coulter 2005, This woman has problems.
Coulter 2005

On Jan. 3, I met Ann Coulter at an Italian restaurant on the Upper East Side. She was glowing, stunning, radiant. Better than ever. She was wearing a powder blue shirt, black pants, black boots and a cross around her neck made of diamonds. I hadn’t seen her since the Republican convention. Since then, the President had been decisively re-elected, her book How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must) hit the New York Times best-seller list, where it remains, and some dopes threw pies at her during a speech she was giving at the University of Arizona and missed.

"I sort of like liberals now," she said, taking a sip of white wine. "They’re kind of cute when they’re shivering and afraid. They’re so pathetic and sad. They can’t come up with a fight. I mean, if the best you’re going to give me to argue about is Rumsfeld’s auto-pen ….

"I’m rooting for the faction of the Democratic Party—like Nancy Pelosi, quoted in yesterday’s New York Times, and I think this is the dominant faction—taking the position that our ideas are fine. That’s right, class, do not change anything about what we believe. We’ve just got to package the wine in new bottles. We need a new way of delivering our message, but the message is perfect! We just need to advertise RU-486 at NASCAR or something—that’ll do the trick!

"I think the trick is, they need to obfuscate their message," she said. "Democrats always have these open public discussions on how they can fake out the American people, so that’s one wing—let’s not tell them what we believe—and the other wing is, Our message is perfect. Ha-ha-ha-ha!"

7. Ann Coulter IS birth control personified. BTW, morning after pill
should be named after her. The morning after pill renders much of the rightwingnuts arguments moot. It's information they can't allow young women to get their minds on !

She needs the leather eyepatch back though.

9. The article is full of bon mots
from the skinny bitch. And there is no way in hell she is glowing, stunning, radiant. She's hideous enough on TV, which is supposed to add ten pounds, plus all the make-up.

"I’m getting a little fed up with hearing about, oh, civilian casualties. I think we ought to nuke North Korea right now just to give the rest of the world a warning."

(in response to a question re: Hillary) "As with John Kerry, I generally don’t admire people who get ahead on somebody else’s coattails." (same here, mAnnie, except for me the Chimp comes to mind)

What should we remember about Bill Clinton? "Well, he was a very good rapist." (wanna bet she has wet dreams about Bill?)

Ya gotta love her.

38. Ann is an experiment...
Right wing personalities are produced. Ann knows her behavior is whorish. She is following instructions, like an actress playing a role. Using the same tactics that national figures Limbaugh, Hannity and O'Reilly shaped their authority figure roles, using defamation and deceit, Coulter is a 'female model' demagogue mouthing expressions that are carefully orchestrated to influence a specific demograph of female voter. She's acting.

Her diamond cross is a stage prop, like gilt French furniture on the God channel show. Churches are full of gossips, you know, you know, oh yeah, you know. She's a good actress, in mythic Old Hollywood style, putting herself out, perhaps aspiring to follow in Condoleeza Rice's footsteps.

14. Coulter thinks everything's hunky dory for the Kurds
so how about this?

07 January 2005: On Kurdistan Satellite TV today, U.S. General Ham apologized to the people for the attack on the Arbil university dormitory two nights ago, calling the incident a mistake by U.S. forces.

General Ham stated, "I ask the President, the Kurdistan Regional Government, and the people of Arbil to accept our sincere apologies."
The general stated that relations between the Iraqi Kurds and U.S and coalition forces has been strong and hopes they will remain that way. No mention was made about why the U.S. forceshad attacked the university.

http://www.kurdmedia.com/news.asp?id=6034

referring to:

US special forces supported by armed helicopters pounded a university dormitory in Irbil Wednesday night. Initial reports say that several suspected insurgents were detained and at least 7 others were injured. According to the eyewitnesses, the operation was launched at 0115 am and lasted for at least one hour.

“We saw four American helicopters flying around our student house late Tuesday night. Two of the choppers remained in the air while the other ones disappeared. The remaining choppers started to shoot at the dormitory by mortar gun around 01 am. Then they launched a racket towards the house in which we were sleeping,” Karzan Hama Ali, a Kurdish student told Peyamner.

Yeah, everything's AOK there - just a normal dormitory raid - using helicopters ...

Link: (need a day pass if you're not a member)
http://archive.salon.com/books/int/2004/07/08/flynt/print.html

This was an interview Salon did with Larry Flynt re his book "Sex, Lies and Politics: The Naked Truth"

(snip)
Salon: You mention Ann Coulter several times in your book. Did she really have an affair with Bob Guccione?

Flynt: Bob Guccione Jr., who was the publisher of Spin magazine. And she was dating him. I find it hard to believe that any man could screw Ann Coulter, but they were having an affair.

Salon: I had the vibe when I was talking with her that she was in the closet, fulfilling some sort of Republican sexual irony.

Flynt: You know, I call her a fag hag. She does like to hang out with gay guys a lot.
(snip)

much more...

23. Shouldn't she be in a home?
After all, her conservative male overlords believe that a woman's place is in the home. It is just as silent as their racism, but sexism is awaiting all women who put repugs in power. AC is of course, too naive to see it.

Imagine Ann Coulter taking advantage of liberal doctrines such as the right to vote for women. She should be burned at the stake for such heresy.

27. She's the grownup
version of the schizoid girl from the sci-fi novel "We Can Build You" by Philip K. Dick.

I could post one or two excerpts but I don't know the rules on that.

It's been reprinted several times and I'm sure the local library or bookstore could get a copy.

http://www.philipkdickfans.com/wcby.htm

"The other plot of We Can Build You is centered around Louis' love/hate relationship with his partner's teenage daughter Pris (a familiar Dick name). She is a cold and manipulative former mental patient who is able to draw Louis into her twisted realm. One of the reasons that we can't dismiss her is that she is responsible for the design of the simulacrum's mental capacities. There are some interesting comparisons between artificial intelligence and the creation of life."

29. Excerpt
I just read the guidelines and it appears that posting up to three or four paragraphs is ok.

Here's three from very early in the novel.

"Undoubtedly Pris was much better now, or they would not have released her into the outer world. But she still did not look normal or natural to me. As we walked back to the living room together I took a close look at her; I saw a little hard, heart-shaped face, with a widow's crown, black hair, and due to her odd make-up, eyes outlined in black, a Harlequin effect, and almost purple lipstick; the whole color scheme made her appear unreal and doll-like, lost somewhere back behind the mask which she had created out of her face. And the skinniness of her body put the capper on the effect: she looked to me like a dance of death creation animated in some weird way, probably not through the usual assimilation of solid and liquid foods . . . perhaps she chewed only walnut shells. But anyhow, from one standpoint she looked good, although unusual to say the least. For my money, however, she looked less normal than the Stanton."

'"Pris," I said, "the mental health people broke the mold when they produced you. What an eerie yet fine-looking chick you turned out to be, now that you've grown up and gotten out of there."'

'"You're no guest of mine. Just my father's. And don't talk to me about going to bed or I'll wreck your life. I'll tell my father you propositioned me, and that'll end MASA ASSOCIATES and your career, and then you'll wish you never saw an organ of any kind, electronic or not. So toddle on to bed, buddy, and be glad you don't have worse troubles than not being able to sleep." And she resumed her snapsnapping.
I stood for a moment, wondering what to do. Finally I turned and went back into the spare room, without having found any rejoinder.
My god, I thought. Beside her, the Stanton contraption is all warmth and friendliness.
And yet, she had no hostility toward me. She had no sense that she had said anything cruel or hard--she simply went on with her work. Nothing had happened, from her standpoint. I didn't matter to her.
If she had really disliked me--but could she do that? Did such a word mean anything in connection with her? Maybe it would be better, I thought as I locked my bedroom door. It would mean something more human, more comprehensible, to be disliked by her. But to be brushed off purposelessly, just so she would not be interfered with, so she could go on and finish her work--as if I were a variety of restraint, of possible interference and nothing more.
She must see only the most meager outer part of people, I decided. Must be aware of them in terms only of their coercive or non-coercive effects on her."
