1. You know, I hate to be a whiner
but for people who spend a LOT of time here (like me), it would be ever so much more helpful if you'd give us just the tiniest damn clue what it's all about instead of forcing us to either go to the damn link to find out or skip it entirely.

I'm tired, I'm cranky. I don't want to open links I'm not interested in NOR do I want to miss something good and important. Which is this one? Wish I knew in advance.

Oh, goodie, it's the waste of time option:

It's been a while, but this morning, the Rude Pundit awoke on the floor in his underwear in a pool of vomit.

2. My policy for posting in this forum
is to indicate who wrote it and the original title, which I believe is the convention. I suppose I could include a little blurb introducing it, and I sometimes do, but hey, I'm tired and cranky too. BTW, I hope you got past the first sentence, it's worth it.

<snip>

Ahh, that's the thing about the Bush Administration, and with the Republicans of the last fifty years: one doesn't learn and move on. If a bad idea fails, be it trickle-down economics or the torture and murder of civilians, try, try again. See, the concept is more important than the execution, so to speak. Theory is more important than practice. And, as always, everything old is new again.
