My wife bought me this book for Christmas and it turned out to be a very good read.....

Stating 250 ways to make it through the next four years without misunderstanding the dangers ahead, and other suliminable strategies on the cover, I first thought the book was just a satirical look at the election and what followed. That is partly true, it is funny and contains some pretty funny jokes and chapters. But to my surprize I also found some very good advice on how to deal effectively with the pychological impact of the last election.

Each chapter deals with a different topic... such as the first chapter...Six Tips to Maintain Your Sanity. Stone uses the advice of Dr. Judith Orloff, MD the author of "Positive Energy: 10 Extraordinary Prescriptions for Transforming Fatigue, Stress and Fear into Vibrance, Strength and Love". Just about every chapter was written by an authority in their respective fields.

I was pleasently surprized by the valuble information the book contained. It merged humor with reality and did an excellent job with it. I would recommend this book to anybody that may be having a difficult time understanding the pychological aspects of the election. Its a very easy/fun read...

2. I agree with you...but the chapter was more of a way to list all the

stereotypical aspects of being a repug. Like...

Instead of spending Sunday mornings reading the New York Times, join a church (but never actually attend----instead, you sneak off to play golf).

or...

Ditch the Toyota and buy a Hummer.

and...

Instead of praising that new senator form Illinios, Barack Obama, whine about how voter fraud must have kept his rival, Alan Keyes, from office.

They also have some bushisms... like...

"I'am honored to shake the hand of a brave Iraqi citizen who had his hand cut off by Saddam Hussein."
