Judy Bachrach of Vanity Fair Ripped Apart Bush on Fox News |
|
Today, about 10 minutes before noon, cruising through the news networks to see what spin of news is being portrayed to the American People, I gave Fox News a minute or so to see what bull they were spewing.
Judy Bachrach was an invited guess to talk about the Presidential Inauguration, and to the surprise of the Fox News Host, Judy Bachrach ripped apart Bush, for his spending of large sums of money while our guys are in the battlefield with inadequate body armor and armored vehicles.
The Fox News Manikin tried to interrupt Judy Bachrach a few times, and Judy Bachrach firmly stood her ground responding that she was invited on the show to say what she wanted to say, and man did she say it.
Who is Judy Bachrach? = She is with 'Vanity Fair', a publication by Conde Nast Publications.
I did my search, found the right number to call, and placed a call to Judy Bachrach's office at Vanity Fair and Praised Judy Bachrach for her courage to stand up and tell it like it is.
Judy Bachrach, Thank You!

8. I just got off the Phone with Air America... |
|
Not that I have any influence, but I dropped them the scoop, lets see if Air America jumps on this, or if the powers to be even get the message I just left.
Judy Bachrach would be a perfect guest on Air America tomorrow during the Inaugaration.

12. umm, yeah, the "revolution" of partisan politics on TV |
|
I'm gonna go take a nap. Wake me when the "revolution" is over....
How about this bach-a-rock talk about something REALLY revolutionary, like taxing plutocrats to pay for universal healthcare?

3. Bush's Party = 40,000 Humvee Armor Kits = 80,000 Body Armor Sets |

Which is likely more kits than we have Humvees. But don't think about it too hard. It will just piss you off.

This reminds me of a poster in a dorm on my campus saying "W is for Women." I think Judy went out and showed that this might, JUST MIGHT, not be true with your everyday sensible woman. God bless the lady.

5. Yep all you have to do |
|
is convince those private donors to give the money to the War Effort instead.
Now, the cost of security is another issue. He could have a live secure location television event, and save lots and lots on security, which could then go to military needs.
But then where would everyone wear their boots to tonight?

6. Vanity Fair has been very good about this sort of story lately |
|
On the surface, they seem to be preoccupied by the usual celebrity nonsense, along with documenting the scandals and playdates of the obscenely wealthy, but their reporting has been underappreciated.

7. Vanitry Fair has had great reporting for years now |
|
especially since Graydon Carter became the editor. I subscribe and never miss an issue. The editor's letter is always good.
