...a bad attitude.

I'm having a melt down here. These people are so focused on their pet theories can no longer experience reality.

http://www.cnn.com/2005/ALLPOLITICS/01/19/rice.confirmation/index.html

"Instead of seizing the opportunity," Biden said, "it seems to me, Dr. Rice, you have danced around it and, sort of, stuck to the party line, which seems pretty consistent: You're always right. You never made any mistakes. You're never wrong."
...
Wednesday, Biden also criticized Rice for saying 120,000 Iraqi security officers are trained but failing to acknowledge how many are fully trained. "We are months, probably years away from reaching our target goal," he said. "'Don't Worry, Be Happy,' that calypso song, should be the theme of the Defense Department."
....

"Boxer denounced Rice for what she said was making Americans believe that the war in Iraq was part of the United States' response to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and convincing the public that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction when he didn't.

AND...

Rice responded: "It was a question of an attitude about terrorism" that justified the war in Iraq, she said."

I can't believe anyone thinks this is acceptable, it verges on the criminal.

1. "Well, officer...
...I only shot him cause he had a BAD attitude towards my girlfriend!"

Give me a break. These guys should have been locked up a thousand times over for their lies and deceit.

2. With that rationale
What should I do if I belive the current administration has a bad attitude when it comes to life and liberty? Just a thought.

3. And yet no one is doing today
what was done in the '70s over being lied to, and the war itself, about the war. Troops and civilians are being killed in an unjust war and no one is doing what was done then to that degree to demand an end.

The frustration over this is keeping me up at night. I want to go protest in SF tomorrow but I have a sick kid. Diabetic with the flu.

5. Biden Himself
started off the whole charade telling Rice in advance he was a whore and was going to vote for her. Why bother her at all Joe? You are a shill pure and simple.

6. I don't like the way he looked at me! So I shot the guy next to him.
"'It was a question of an attitude about terrorism' that justified the war in Iraq, she said."
i.e.
The war in Iraq was justified because some people in Afghanistan next door terrorized us? What kind of an attitude is that? Demented.

To whom does this statement make sense? This woman was a provost at Stanford?

It doesn't matter though because clearly the end justifies the means. She also said:

"the end result is the measuring stick to use against the administration's decisions."

More words that are bound to haunt her in the coming blood bath of the Middle East ignited with this Administration's failed attempt to obtain an oil colony. When the US gets the hell out of Dodge.

"Osama Bin Laden determined to strike the US" was mild by comparison.

8. What the hell does that mean?
"It was a question of an attitude about terrorism that justified the war in Iraq." Delusional.

Iraq has WMD? Nope. Iraq/Hussein has working relationship with al-Qaeda? Nope. Hussein had hand in 9/11 attacks? Nope. Iraq reconstituting nuclear capability? Nope.

Only now do we have the answer after all of the shifting pretexts: it's the "attitude" about terrorism which justified the deaths of tens of thousands of Iraqis (the ones we're to be "liberating") and 1400 US troop deaths.

Condi, you're not human. How do you live with yourself?

9. I wonder how such justifications would hold up in court
if for instance I broke into somebody's house and killed him and his entire family, because I had a hunch from God that he might have a gun, and besides he was a total asshole.
