RNC Tiptoes on Immigration Issue |
|
by John Gizzi Posted Jan 21, 2005 "Last year, I did talk privately with Karl Rove about the concerns our party has with illegal immigration," a Republican National Committee member who requested anonymity told me. "I later had assurances that the President would address those concerns in his speech in New York City. But two days before the speech, I learned that the references to illegal immigration were taken out. The administration apparently felt it was too sensitive for him to talk about publicly."

If people are living and working here in America, they should be voting. If our "economy depends on them" so much, why not let them vote? Maybe it is because both parties do not want the radicalizing economic-leftist influence felt in the electorate? THey are essentially economic slaves. They are in the system, but are not allowed to vote. Look around you at the Democratic party activists: how many are actually leftist economically speaking? Very few, at least compared to how economic-leftist the workers who clean their offices are.
I ask: where is the Democratic party on demanding political justice for all immigrants, whether legal or illegal? If they are living and working here, they should be voting here. But not a damn peep out of the Democrats on this issue.....
