Of course I lied

It would have been refreshing if during her confirmation hearings Condoleezza Rice had said, "Duh! Of course I lied, that was my job! And in the future I'll tell as many lies as are required of me. But you are not allowed to question my credibility. Because I need credibility to make my lies effective."

That's right on target, ain't it? Great work, Mr. Hajicek.

I hope every DU-er takes the time to fire one off to the local newspapers for not just the few people who still read, but the editors who decide what stories they are going to cover based on what the can get away with.

(I actually know the author of that LTTE personally. He works hard to send off LTTE all the time. Very dedicated to the cause and it paid off. Expect to read more of him in the StarTrib, locals.)
