Can't anyone say SOMTHING good about George W. Bush?
Surely that lying, murderous, treasonous corporate whore has SOME redeeming features. There must be some group of Americans other than corporate officials he has helped. At least ONE good bill must have been passed by his regime.

Stop whining for just a few minutes and help me think of something GOOD to say about Il Dunce!

46. educate yourself: how did that murderous regime get off the ground?
the comparisons to Nazis have to do with the context of Germany in the 1930s, not Hitler's specific crime of the Holocaust. The German sheeple lapped up all of Hitler's nationalistic propaganda and phony claims of a terrorist threat--just like the American people do now.

79. Sure...
I was asked to offer praise for something shrub has accomplished, and my simple response is he became President even while losing the popular vote. This doesn't mean that I think he fairly won Florida or that the Electoral College shouldn't be abolished.

I am praising him for succeeding in taking advantage of our very flawed system, most who win in the Electoral College usually win the majority or plurality of the popular votes. But Shrub did this successfully without out winning those votes both nationwide and in Florida.

Again, a rare accomplishment, before shrub it was last done by Hayes in 1876 when three states cast their Electoral Votes against their popular votes.

when i heard he was going to use a tax cut for hydrogen cars or some such.

At the very least, he was supposed to doing something to boost research into hydrogen cars.

Then I found out hat the hydrogen would have come from fossil fuels, thus totally missing the point of usign hydrogen in the first place.

Now I hear he wants a base on the moon, which I would love to see. but knowing him, it's so he can put nukes up there or some similar bull shit.

even when he sems to do good, he ends up doing bad. even his dad and Nixon I can think of at least one thing that was done right. Shrub... nothing.

I think he did a good job in the days and weeks that followed. But, I also think he and his admin should have done more beforehand to prevent it from occurring.

When you say "he knew all about 9-11 before it happened" do you actually mean he specifically knew planes would be flown into the WTC that day? As you can tell, I do not believe that.

96. If you mean
He did a good job exploiting a national tragedy and the murder of 3000 Americans for partisan political gain, then yeah, I guess he did a "good job."

Way to fight terrorism? TAX CUTS! Against any of my policies? You're "with the terrorists."

64. Hmmm.... Let's see.....
No terrorist attacks in U.S. since 9/11.

Freed Afghanistan from Taliban.

Freed Iraq from Hussein.

Unemployment at 4% here in Indiana.

Tax cuts, my paychecks fatter and I look to get an extra grand in tax return.

Business is up at my place of business as we are working 7 days a week and the lowest paid can take home about a 1000 a paycheck.

Libya is getting out of the WMD business.

I have some disagreements with his domestic policies, but, I still pretty much like the guy.

66. OK, I'll bite...
No terrorist attacks in U.S. since 9/11. I hardly attribute that to the faux cowboy in the WH; Big talk hardly makes for a safer environment.

Freed Afghanistan from Taliban. After threatening them with a carpet of bombs, if they didn't accept the US 'carpet of gold', re: the Unocal pipeline. The attack on the Afghans really had nothing to do with the Taliban in the first place (except for their hedging on the pipeline). They are making a pretty strong comback as well, and the people of Afghanistan seem to be no better off than they were prior to the US invasion.

Freed Iraq from Hussein. And put an end to all of the resistance, no doubt; through an illegal war; because of lies about WMD; because of oil interests; because he hasn't done anything of substance to justify his election. Oh yea, before I forget, the Iraqis LOVE us.

Unemployment at 4% here in Indiana. Does that count the people who have dropped off the radar; those who gave up looking or ran out of benefits? How about those who moved to other locations?

Tax cuts, my paychecks fatter and I look to get an extra grand in tax return. Instant gratification has it down side as well; by this time next year, we'll see where your state and local taxes are, then we'll talk.

Business is up at my place of business as we are working 7 days a week and the lowest paid can take home about a 1000 a paycheck.

Libya is getting out of the WMD business. And making overtures to the EU, thank goodness, about membership and trading rights. Plus, they never had WMDs, just the plans and some materials, nothing completed and would have been years before anything came to fruition.

87. Let's see. The Taliban control Afghanistan again, Iraq is the prisoner
of the US after an illegal invasion against an unarmed, UN compliant Iraq, Unemployment is probably 10% if not more, can't tell because all the people he threw off the unemployment roles are no longer counted, tax cut? what a joke..it was a loan, Libya never had WMD, we have them and we murder people daily with them.

Grow up and wise up. Turn off Faux and you might learn something. Your hero is a treasonous murderer.

be an alcoholic, lay around on your drunken ass until you are 40,
have your daddy buy you some businesses to fail and STILL BECOME
PRESIDENT of the United States through your daddy's connections.

America is so great - it's true that anyone can become President.
Even a miserable failure like George W. Bush.

89. Teddy one directly, GW hundreds indirectly
GW is responsible for the deaths of hundreds indirectly thru his
policies, but Ted Kennedy did let a woman, Mary Jo Kopechne, die
in his car as he wandered around wondering what to do in order to save
his political future. There was an air pocket in the car and Kopechne suffocated thanks to Ted's inaction.

Look where all the funding for African AIDS assistance went. Poof! Though I think we do need to fund planetary exploration (within budgetary reason), this is probably just another lie or has military implications.

94. He has sequestered himself behind barbed wire and armed guards
It will make him easier to lock up when we take back our country. We can just turn the WH into a federal penitentiary. He'll never know the difference.

This is also good because it means I don't have to actually look at him or listen to him in person. If I hear his stomach-churning little voice in my house, I can just turn him off. Thank God he isn't my neighbor or something a lot closer to home where I would actually have to look at his sorry ass.
