O'Neill Outing - This is "bigger than "impeaching Bush"
Edited on Sat Jan-10-04 12:04 PM by cthrumatrix
O'NEILL SAYS INVASION OF IRAQ PLANNED IN FIRST DAYS OF BUSH ADMIN -- LONG BEFORE 9/11...
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Think of the web of deceipt.

* The Cheney verbage & papers with multiple lies on Iraq- taped

* Powell, Condi, Wolfowitz -- all inner circle knowledge as O'Neill

They all would go down or leave with an impeachment. The media will be in an absolute "tizzy"...how can they cover?

People will demand the truth...their sons and daughters died becuase of these lies.

Who get's power with the election year and what happens to the media, the stock market ? If they lied on this...they can lie on anything.

This is bigger than impeachment!

2. Oh, and Michael Jackson....and...well, there are football playoffs to
consider.

The day the helicopter was shot down (just a couple days ago) and nine soldiers were killed, that story was a n aside on AOL--the BIG story was the change of venue for Scott Peterson's trial!

3. wouldn't that be great...if the people "rose up" and said "no more BS"....
this is why it has huge implications.....politics, media and out future.

We can "no longer" not have a fair media. People died becuase our media abandonded truth when they were bought out by coporations (which benefitted from the war).

13. But what about Martha?
We have to spend time peering into and speculating about the homemaking diva who got too aggressive and too greedy and sought too much power.

17. and Pete Rose
a controversy from literally 20 years ago. Sorry baseball fans, this thing has no consequence outside of the sports pages. I'm not even sure if it still matters on the sports pages.

11. I saw a thread yesterday that the * administration isn't so worried
about O'Neill, but they are worried about the former head of terrorism under both Clinton and * who also has a book coming out. I beg to differ. I think ALOT of people are going to be interested in what O'Neill has to say, particularly the families of 9/11.

It looks as though the crooks could be playing defense this entire election year. There's an awful lot of negative stories coming to surface, including the Plame investigation getting some steam.

CBS) The Bush Administration began laying plans for an invasion of Iraq, including the use of American troops, within days of President Bush's inauguration in January of 2001 -- not eight months later after the 9/11 attacks as has been previously reported.

That's what former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill says in his first interview about his time as a White House insider. O'Neill talks to Correspondent Lesley Stahl in the interview, to be broadcast on 60 Minutes, Sunday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

19. Let's hope
Our democratic representatives go after this big time and at least
attempt to get this news out to Bush's adoring fans.. My God, how
much have we heard about something Howard Dean said four years ago?

This is real news and we know the 24/7 media will let it die. It's
up to our party to keep this alive. Sunday's 60 Minutes is a very
popular show. Maybe that interview will open some eyes about how
truly evil this regime is.

20. Gotta have the votes to impeach...
And the reality is, shrub could be caught on video killing Laci Peterson AND Chandra Levy and it still wouldn't matter because the GOP would not vote to impeach him.

Thing about this is, if the Dems win the WhiteHouse AND both houses of Congress (about as likely as Elvis showing up on Nessie's back, IMO) we still will never see shrub's nads roasted in a hearing because he will be on the way out and become moot. The best we are ever gonna see is him listed in the history books along side guys like Benedict Arnold and Aaron Burr.

Now, if you want to put on a tin foil cap with me, you might consider the idea that the guys who put shrub in office could decide he's a huge liability and suddenly we are looking at a whole new GOP candidate in place of shrub*. That little scenario is a possibility, IMO.

Laura

*Disclaimer for the SS: I hope shrub continues in excellent health and complete safety because, as much as I dislike him, I think he's vulnerable and the Dems will win the WH. IF some horrible "accident" should happen and he is unfortunately removed from the scene please do not look to me as being the reason.

Laura

22. Cheney's secret energy policy meetings
Now I'm more convinced than ever that Cheney's secret energy policy summit discussed the matter of carving up Iraq's oil reserves.

We need to push hard now for those meetings to be made public...
