O'Neill: Let's not lose this opportunity
The O'Neill revelations are potentially extremely damaging to the Bush junta.

Please, let's not allow this to just fade away. Push this with all you've got! Call in to talk radio, write LTTE, talk it up wherever you go, in the supermarket line, on the bus, to your friends, family and co-workers.

Let me issue this challenge to everyone at DU. The next time you feel like taking a shot at one of our Democratic candidates you don't support, take that energy and use to to take one more shot at Bush instead. If you feel like saying something negative about Dean, Kerry, Clark or whoever, channel it into another blow against the empire!

3. Well said...
I always make a comment in grocery lines about dumbya. Some chuckles, usually Gestapoesque stares.

6. A good sound bite.
He (Paul O'Neill) likened Bush at Cabinet meetings to "a blind man in a room full of deaf people,"according to excerpts from a CBS interview to promote a book by former Wall Street Journal reporter Ron Suskind, "The Price of Loyalty."

9. I am with you 100%...
I've been emailing family and friends and asking they make some serious noise about this.

As I mentioned in another thread, we just got handed a really big stick -- it's up to us to use it.

Monday I am hitting the phones and I am not going to stop calling until I annoy the hell out of the offices of Boxer, Pelosi, and Feinstein, and the media in my town.

I hope every Duer does the same.

10. I heard 3 people in the pub yesterday
bashing Bush. I was great. They were talking about Saddam, the non-existant WMD's, the failure to find Osama, the fleeing jobs. One of them even mentioned the weak dollar! Three white males bashing Bush! It's great when people who don't eat, sleep, and drink politics (like me) start attacking the occupation.

CRAWFORD, Texas - Former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill contends the United States began laying the groundwork for an invasion of Iraq (news - web sites) just days after President Bush (news - web sites) took office in January 2001 — more than two years before the start of the U.S.-led war that ousted Saddam Hussein (news - web sites)."
