If we can get more benign corporations instead of Militaryindustrial |

BFEE-PNAC to take over; would that be a victory? Are Democrats being naive and foolish to banish corporate power from it's movement? I think so. Third way capitalism and semi-crapitalism is the only short term answer. Americans won't vote in socialism, it won't be allowed. But if we don't divide and conquer, we are fools against such great power. Democrats must make peace with the capitalist establisment in order to win.

most Americans are socialists at heart...ask them about healthcare and other issues and most people will believe these are basic human rights...To really make them a right, we must use "socialist" policies to provide these things. They may not vote for a socialist ticket, but they will vote for liberal socialists running as democrats who will be able to get the agenda pushed through. We have made much progress since FDR, and still have much to do. It takes time, patience, and the support of our BASE. We need to get behind more progressive candidates at all levels of government if we want to accelerate things. A Bush/GOP lite democrat at any level isn't going to cut it. We must oppose DINOS across the board and we will continue to be successful. One day at a time.
