Will Bush's numbers be affected by this week?
I wonder if Bush's numbers (approval rating and "would you vote for Bush" polls) will be affected by this week's events?

So far this week:
- The Iraq's Arsenal was only on paper articles (Washington Post, etc.)
- The 60 Minutes Texas Miracle show (more lies from Bush and proof that NCLB is a horrible, corrupt program)
- His immigration plan which backfired and turned many conservatives against him
- O'Neill's revelations and 60 Minutes tonight

Bad week for Shrub.

1. YES.....BUT
the media won't report the accurate figures. people (even on the right) are getting pissed but the alphabet networks won't report on the TRUE figures.

he will be the first pResident in history to lose in November with a 70% "approval" rating.

bank it.

3. Bad News Comming
Edited on Sun Jan-11-04 08:35 AM by ThomWV
I suspect that a deal has already been cut for the chimp's visit to Mexico tomorrow. I think he and Fox will announce a combined program in which the Mexicans will promiss to police their side of the border and stop illegal movement into our country. He will proclaim this a great victory in international relations, come home and give green cards (which have immediately become little less than voter registration forms with the word Republican written on the top) to illegals.

Do not forget that these weasels will lie any bad event into a crowd pleaser.

Thom

4. I believe the polls are timed in favor of Bush
The Dec. Zogby poll came out two days after the capture of Saddam. The Dec. Gallup came out four days after the capture. Gallup released a Jan. poll Jan. 5, before the additional 10 soliers that died, before the treasonous immigration plan, before the economic report that said only 1000 jobs were created nationally in Dec., and before the O'Neil report exposing what may be the biggest Bush lie of all. I believe the polls are done continuously (every day) and release either after something that would help Bush's rating or before something that would hurt his rating. Now Gallup probably won't do another poll until February, unless something happens that will help Bush's numbers. Everyone is afraid of Bush; even Gallup and Zogby.

6. Don't forget the jobs report.
Only 1,000 jobs created in December. 309,000 people stopped looking for work. This should be bad news for him.
