CNN O'neill comment!!! Hilarious |
|
Edited on Sun Jan-11-04 06:07 PM by Must_B_Free
Laughed Out Loud!
O'neill's comment on potential Bush loyalist repercussion to his statements:
"I'm an old guy, and I'm rich, and there's nothing they can do to hurt me..."
This is getting good folks!

I remember how when he was "chosen" the media remarked how his position was extremely anti-deficit.

3. Quite clearly he understands the vindictiveness of bushco |
|
Also, O'Neill has 19,000 pages of memos, documents and private National Security briefings in his possession. And you can bet there are duplicate copies in safekeeping.

Suskind said his access to source material was "far and beyond" anything he had ever used in his work before --- from O'Neill ALONE! He apparently was given unprecedented access to O'Neill's private papers.

Just look at what they are doing to Michael Jackson; he's rich, white and old!
And, shoot, just look at what they did to John Lennon, John Denver, John Belushi, Chris Farley, Ron Brown, Mama Cass, Janice Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and Phil Hartmann!

6. A challenge for O'Neill's detractors |
|
For those who claim that he's just "bitter" or "disgruntled" - supply evidence that he's lying, or Shut your Pie-hole! I tend to get bitter myself when hundreds of soldiers die to prop up a criminal enterprise. We've got the turds on the run.

Bitter truth is still truth.
And sometimes a very clear-eyed truth at that.

to the administration. He is challenging them. Although my memories of Watergate are mostly from "All The President's Men," it looks like Paul O'Neill has had a John Dean moment.

tonight led with the story, I guess that's normal since they want to push 60 minutes. I did think it was interesting that Rumsfeld tried to talk O'Neill out of having the book published. I'm looking forward to 60 minutes.

26. I was surprised that that too |

I expect that to become a big issue over the next couple of days. It will be the great big diversion that detracts from the actual message of this book and the interview. I wouldn't be surprised as all if they made moves to file criminal charges.

They'll try discrediting him first. By the time they're ready to ice him, Paul will be such a pariah he'll be grateful to get an invite to have misoshiru at my flat...
