Move-On ad about Medicare on TV |
|
Ok, admittedly, I am in Florida, but in the last 2 weeks, just about since the beginning of the year, I have seen the moveon.org medicare ad on TV about 10 times a day...I think this is a really good thing...though I like the ad that they first showed a few weeks ago about the Iraq war better...however, I understand why they are showing the medicare one here...
anyways, my main question was if this is a nationwide thing or if its just Florida that is getting this??
PS- The ad has been showing most often during news programming...Nightline, 60 minutes, World News Tonight, etc.

1. I've seen it numerous times |
|
here in WV and I probably only watch TV for about an hour a day and only get 2 stations so I'm assuming it is being widely shown. I like it.
There was a segment on CBS news tonight about the moveon ad contests, I thought it was interesting and liked that the Republicans seem very unhappy about them.

2. I have not seen the ad out here. |
|
I hope that ad soon goes nation-wide!
Also, I telephoned aarp in late November when this all broke and asked them to cancel my membership and refund my money. I spent about 3/4ths hour on the phone mostly on hold and finally they said they would do the cancel and refund.
Up until now, they have not refunded the money and I'm still getting their junk mail. I telephoned them late last week, my membership number was still active, they had my membership account and there was no cancellation. I asked them again to cancel. I am more convinced they did cancel it and will send the refund, this time.
If anyone called them before to cancel and they didn't do it, I suggest calling them again.

|
WV has an older population relative to many states.

Move-on probably wouldn't waste much time or money here in southeast Texas.
