I know there have been a lot of O'Neill threads, but go rate this story on Yahoo-- help kick it so that America can hear some truth about the Bush criminals.

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=578&e=2&u=/nm/20040112/ts_nm/bush_oneill_dc

"In the 23 months I was there, I never saw anything that I would characterize as evidence of weapons of mass destruction," O'Neill told Time magazine in a separate interview. "There were allegations and assertions by people... To me there is a difference between real evidence and everything else."

O'Neill also raised objections to a new round of tax cuts and said the president balked at his more aggressive plan to combat corporate crime after a string of accounting scandals because of opposition from "the corporate crowd," a key constituency.

O'Neill said he tried to warn Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites) that growing budget deficits -- expected to top $500 billion this fiscal year alone -- posed a threat to the U.S. economy.

4. Thanks!
when I rated it, it was something like 3.8 or so. It was one of the top Reuters stories, but not one of the top Yahoo stories.

5. I wonder if some Repubs have rated it low
When I rated it just now, it was only at 3.73 -- seems pretty low to me.

10. another kick
thanks again.

Bush and his gang are getting their asses kicked by conservatives!!! Yeah!!

Kevin Phillips' appearances to support his book.

O'Neill and Susskind's book/interviews

The woman, Karen K...who wrote a scathing commentary on her time with the neocons in The American Conservative.

Now a military report saying the Bush junta has tried to wage the war on terror in the wrong way.

On top of this-

Ashcroft recused himself from the Valerie Plame/CIA operative leak.

Cheney may be found guilty of bribery of a French official while he was CEO of Halliburton.

On top of this-

unfortunately for us all, the economy sucks, unless you are playing with funny money in the stock market until the Bush ponzi scheme takes it full toll.

Yeah, I bet CNN's Schneider is all over this with intelligent follow up and facts. (cough)

14. The O'Neill story has been dying on Yahoo's top rated page
some people must be making a concerted effort to keep it rated low. About the only way to get it onto the top rated page there would be to keep hunting for new O'Neill stories that do not yet have a lot of raters, so that it can be pushed into the top stories and people can see it. Once a story has hundreds of ratings and is sitting below 3.75 it is almost impossible to bring it back up.
