Not that I give much credence to polls--especially polls so soon before the elections. But the O'Neal story is damning, IMHO. Since the "good news" positively affects Bush's rating, how vulnerable is he to damning news?

3. Too new yet
But watch. I get a feeling the past week or so will be seen as the beginning of their end. The job #'s were awful, deaths and instability in in Iraq continue, despite Saddam's capture and now this.

7. Right, our economy is in the toilet
which * blames the bad economy on being attacked and being at war. He uses the war to explain the huge budget deficit. All this money spent for what???? A personal vendetta is what it looks like to me. We have hundreds of thousands people out of work, vital programs being slashed, benefits being cut, people with out health insurance, all so * could invade Iraq. While there are people out there who blindly adore the idiot, there are those out there who will hold him responsible by not voting for him.

6. maybe...possibly
If the Dems use it as a major talking point on the Sunday morning blah-blahs then it might take hold.

But then I thought yellow cake uranium might as well....

8. there's a new thread with link
to the disclosure today of an Army War College study that criticizes the Bush admin for going into Iraq - among other things, draws parallels to Hitler's overreaching ambition. Check it out.

11. One scandal builds upon another.
Soon the people will not be able to ignore them. The breaking point will come when Republican lawmakers start seeing him as a liability, not an asset.
