Blitzer implies criminality by O'Neill |
|
Blitzer opened with the tease that O'Neill may have committed a crime by removing SECRET papers from Treasury Department.
A moment later, he mentions that SECRET document shown on 60 minutes.
A moment later, he reports that CBS says they did not show and do not have a SECRET document, just the cover for the document.
A moment later, he reports that Ron Suskind says HE does not have a SECRET document, just the cover for it.
It's getting nasty out there.

1. O'Neill side of the story is that everything he left Treasury with was |
|
vetted by the attorneys there. I'm sure that that is true, but will it matter?
After all it is hardly covered anywhere is it?

3. God help us all. They are going after him. |
|
I thought Rove would advise some quick dismissal of O'Neill; criticism by Limbaugh, Hannity and his other orcs, then drop it. I was wrong. They are sending a message, and it's from the top (it becomes clearer every day that Bush is megalomaniac): No criticism allowed. Ever. The importance of this next election just got ratcheted up a notch, folks. Keep talking now. May not see you here in 2005.

4. Opposing the BFEE with real facts is a crime under the soon to |

be revealed Patriot Acts 3 through 9. In fact Act 7 makes all actions against the BFEE crimes retroactive to Jan, 20, 2000.
Case closed. Paul O'Neill has officially become a "person of interest".

Thought not.

They know those documents aren't classified. That is bull shit. It is the typical "lead by fear". Next, these documents will be a threat to national security. It is the same old song and dance.

<paranoia>
I wonder what the Bushies intend to do about the book's release? Could there actually be instructions circulating to store owners to get info. about people who buy this book? I know it sounds completely nuts but this kind of suspicion is what we have been driven to, folks....
</paranoia>
In any case, if anything secret WAS leaked, the damage has been done. The book's authors know, many people at the publisher know it, and the public has been made aware that there is a book. If it's pulled, then someone from one of those groups will still leak it on the Internet. And people are FAR too interested in reading anything considered controversial to refuse to purchase this book out of misguided "patriotism."

And, did he implicate the other "high officials" interviewed for the book?
Dumb questions, I know. I'm sure he just slandered and smeared everything he could slime up with his lies.
Someone should start a national campaign to verbally assault propagandizing reporters with real questions about their lies, confront the fascists on camera since we can no longer ask our public officials any questions.

Sunday when this O'Neil business first broke. And the Bush* callers are all saying that it's just sour grapes. These guys are so in love with Bush* it's pathetic. One caller mentioned how O'Neil and Bono were in Africa on that mission and he said they were probably having anal sex...then the moderator cut him off.
These guys are sad and pathetic that they will say anything to try and discredit this guy. They are desperate!

Pay cash. ;)
Make it an instant NYT Best Seller.
Keep it there for weeks.
The investigation will go nowhere. It's already backfiring, as most people in early polls are saying they believe O'Neill.
Keep this story in the news.
The tactics of Rove and company are being exposed. Look at the headlines "Bush FIGHTS BACK", "White House RETALIATES".
Subliminally (or subliminininininally, as W would say), the media is exposing the gestapo tactics of the Rove machine.
Relax folks... and reward Suskind with riches beyond his wildest dreams by BUYING THE BOOK.
