When Bush finally goes down, what of the media?
Edited on Mon Jan-12-04 07:21 PM by Must_B_Free
will Blitzer or any of the rest still have jobs?

Face it, they sat there and bald face lied to the US Public for over three years...

Do they have any credibility to maintain or can they simply say "I just read cuecards"...

They do some much editorializing and when we look back and dissect all of the propaganda they were being paid to deceive people with, it seems like they should not be allowed to have jobs in journalism anymore....

1. Who will tell people about what the media did?
Edited on Mon Jan-12-04 06:32 PM by jpgray
Ah, no one. I do agree that Bush will go down, though. Too much of this fraud is obvious these days.

4. They've been spinning for alot longer than 3 years.
Nicaragua, Indonesia... it's a old, well-established corporate propaganda machine at this point.

Blitzer will be fine. Some of the more extreme faces may go away with a discredited conservative movement... people like Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter. Maybe.

7. IF the Emperor is de-throned...and that is a HUGE if...
I don't think either Corporate TV Pravda nor the Party-Loyal Right-Wing Sub-Media are going anywhere. They are multi-billion dollar closely knit institutions, and they are just now beginning to reach Soviet-level lies and half-truths.

They have NO credibility to the "people outside the Bushevik Matrix", which is much of the Free World to which the Empire no longer truly belongs, and of course to the growing numbers of Imperial Subjects who "took the red pill" and became Free Americans.

But I don't our Corporate TV Pravda going anywhere, no matter what happens. Shall journalistsic integrity spontaeously revive itself? Will Corporate Re-Regulation occur overnight and the Megacorps parcel their divisions up for the Public Good, especially when Busheviks don't agree such a thing even exists...

It is still unknown what the future hold, but all the negative pssibilities are open from economic collapse to environemtnal collape and everything in between, while it's clear that it's VERY unlikely for positive outcomes that are more than Orwellian window dressing such as rasing the chocolate ration 10mgs.

8. I'll bet when bush* loses
the media will say, "Mr. bush* lost because there were no jobs created, but other than that he would have been a shoe in for a second term." They will then proceed to libel and slander the new democratic president, and you will see the Clinton years all over again.

10. Hang 'em High
Don't ever forget what they've done. Many people here start liking Tweety or soandso because they throw us a crumb now and again.

But don't ever forget what they've put us through. This truly is the Soviet Union and the media are complicit in the crimes of BushCo.

Fox News will probably stop flying the flag in the upper-left corner of the screen after a Democrat becomes President, again.

12. You mean after the Revolution? Because that will be what it...
takes to pry power from the fingers that control it now. And frankly, we have a lot of DOWN to do before that is a remote possibility.

14. Remember who they were and........
Those bastards would never be allowed to cross the gate of the white house as long as a democratic president was there.
