Why is Pawlenty continuing on light-rail and privatized roads?!
In Election 2002, I saw a big green sign on I94. It looked like a ballot sheet. It had a party name followed by preferred method of transport.

Greens = Bicycles
Democrats = Monorail
Republicans = Roads

Did Americans expect roads to be privatized?

Worse, if Pawlenty supports ROADS like a good republican would, why is he supporting light rail?

Light rail is no longer a downtown Mpls only project, it sems. It's going all the way out to Cottage Grove, some 30 miles away from Minneapolis. They're tearing down a community college center in order to put up the rail and a terminal.

Sigh. Sorry to rant.

1. Because he's a REpubLICan
Pawlenty drives me crazy. I totally hear ya on this one, though. I'm all for the environmental aspects of the light rail, but I guess I just don't understand where it is even going. (Besides outside The Drink, downtown ;)

Pawlenty in general is enough to bitch about. He's such a damn putz!
