Halellujah! BushCo's investigation of O'Neill keeps it on the front page!
Thanks for the free promotion, you wicked, evil, FOOL Busheviks!!
Media whores were more than willing to kill this story...and now - SHAZAAM! We've got an epic MEGAhit on our hands - rising the charts with a bullet! And Mr. Suskind has a guaranteed #1 best seller! Mr. O'Neill - the "outed" honest Republican, has everything it takes to become the perfect martyr. There can be no question about it now, folks - we have found our John Dean-esque savior! Wilson/Plame is big - from what I can tell from the reactions I've witnessed - this is bigger! Long live the republic!

1. And a big seller, I'll bet.
If the investigation makes any noise at all, whether it's good or bad for O'Neil, it'll only be free advertising for Susskind's book.

We shall see.

2. The Radical Right
They would have been a lot smarter to shut up and wish this one away. It's always worked before.

This got someone's goat, if you know what I mean.

It is nice that the admin. acted predictably and lashed out...Kinda keeps the thing alive and better yet, enlarges it.

I can't imagine this investigation will turn up anything, it will however be a huge waste of and innapropriate use of resources...Hmmmm, might there be something to the fact that now the admin. is arguably wasting resources by using a federal agency to intimidate a whistleblower...Missappropriation anybody?

15. Not turning up anything - like the WMD's - would be fantastic!
And you just know that O'Neill and Suskind were smart enough to know what they could get away with! It sure won't help Bushler during an election year to beat up on O'Neill! They'll have to let it go - after helping everyone focus on it! I really think it's perfect! The bullying corporate nazi media will help beat up on O'Neill - making him even more sympathetic!

4. If dreams come true...
The energy task force linkage to Iraq War planning is a perspective that will not sit well with the American people.

If our candidates, blogs, and friendly media can make 41% of the American people believe THAT is true. It will be criminal investigations (maybe the French could join in our case?), and very BLUE white house and capital building.

6. I guess Treasury will investigate itself,
since other threads have referred to the fact that O'Neill/Suskind got the documents from Treasury Department lawyers!

Just proves once more that their instincts are not that of rational, well reasoned souls - but merely bullying thugs - ala Cheney, Rumsfeld and Smirky!

It might get the media hungry enough to explore more of the Bush administration and their policies., but I wouldn't hold my breath, there's no naughty sex involved.

I love seeing these idiots shoot themselves in the foot. And he couldn't have timed it better, especially considering there is still a LOT of simmering rage over Bush's immigration policy. This will just make it worse.

16. There are more books critical coming and isn't Kitty Kelly due out this
year? Can't wait. She's the one that said Nancy Reagan
gave I believe it was Peter Lawford and someone else
blowjobs in the car when they were driving cross country.
Don't ask me the complete details. You really need to
read her book on Nancy. Its a classic. Apparently, she
had a propensity to give blow jobs to anyone in pants.
A man who was a business associate with her dad actually
arranged not to be alone with her when she was in high
school. Kitty Kelly doubles her proofs to be safe and I
cannot wait to see what she does with the Bushes.

14. NBC and CBS gave the adm side tonight.
It isn't going to fly. NBC at the end had a funeral of a young woman killed in the war on 1/2/04. Wonder how her parents feel after seeing that bush just didn't like Saddam. Brokaw is sickening.

20. Remember: "Its not the crime, its the coverup"
Rove is biting on the attempt to intimidate and cover-up. It's a mistake and I'm thrilled he's falling for it.

House of cards is rocking and the alphabet networks are dancing mightily to keep them from falling down.

Seems like people ended up hating O.J. as much for his trying (and succeeding) to get a way with murder - as his murdering!
