Who Arranges The Presidential Debates and When?
I am just suggesting this but for the life of me I do not know to whom. Maybe it makes some sense for the powers that be who arrange for the Presidential debates to take place to get working on it now, with Bush and the unnamed candidate of our party.

I say that because I am convinced that the Republicans will use the latness of their own corination (convention) as an excuse to avoid a debate. I can no immagine Rove willingly letting the chimp on the stump with any of the Democrats. I think the only way to show Bush to the nation in that format is to start making debate noises now and making them loud.

The administration will begin by saying it is far to early, but every day that goes by eats into that excuse. Then at some point they won't have time because they are preparing for their own convention, and then there will be the October suprise to kill off any chance at all of the babbleing moron to have to share the stage with a woman or man of integrity, honesty, and intelligence.

So it has to start now if there is to be any chance at all, because I'm sure they really don't want a debate to take place at all and only public outcry and demand will cause one to take place.

1. i believe that it is voluntary
therefore, it serves no purpose for bush. rove won't let him do it. it has to be reporters who ask him if he's planning to duck Dean, Clark, Kerry, whomever. but they won't get the chance or they won't have the nerve.

debates will not happen. maybe one scripted, hour long. max.

however, the thought of dick "its our due" cheney actually speaking directly to the american people instead of a fundraise audience has me licking my chops.
