How could they have f****d it up so majestically?
My wife asked me this tonight. I just kept eating my supper.

2. How did they screw up? |

They got us committed to a long-term occupation. They control the oil. They're selling the country off to their cronies, without opposition.
Seems to me like they didn't screw up. They simply don't care what it costs, or how many serfs die. Those items aren't part of their calculation for success.

5. That's true, it is only |
|
500 hundred or so American dead, 20,000 or so American wounded, 30,000 or so dead Iraqi's, 160,000,000,000 US dollars, another 50 or so years fighting against kids-cum-terrorists who were born this year, raised to send a message, "We'll show you why we hate you..."
Yeah, I guess the price isn't so high.....

4. I'm sure they blame it all on liberals |
|
If only we'd been doing our duty and praising Bush instead of going to all those peace rallies, the Iraqis would have realized the nobility of our purpose and laid down their weapons without a fight. Hell, they might even have had a prototype for a workable election system in place for the new Democracy. Of course, they would have forgetten those silly Shia-Baath-Sunni labels and proclaimed themselves all brother and sister Iraqis (with the sisters equal partners in the Democratic process, of course).
Doh! How could we have been so foolish?!?

I wondered why, if they had been planning for the aftermath, etc. since January 2001, they didn't have a plan for the aftermath in May 2003. And if they had been planning this all along, are they going to admit that they left us in dire circumstances for two years with Saddam Hussein poised to destroy millions of us with his vast WMD at 45 minutes notice? And if Saddam Hussein was actually in cahoots with the evil one, UBL as they call him on Faux News, to destroy America and our freedom and McDonald's, why didn't they protect us?
(I'm relatively new here -- I am being sarcastic above -- but also wondering what the answer would be.)

that to them this is a perfect succes. Halliburton is making billions... Iraq's oil will eventually be in our hands. A few dead soldiers is no problem. A few years of turmoil doesn't matter. Iraq is safe for big business to profit.

12. They were figuring how to perpetrate it for a year. |
|
They weren't planning the operation of the war or the aftermath, but how to convince (or trick) the American public into accepting it. They were running off the PNAC and Chalabi for the other stuff.

These fucking whanks thought they could storm into Iraq being greeted by roses and rice, topple Mr Baddie, rape and pillage while the locals begged for more and cheered them on, then they would sneer at the women and tell them honey please put your panties back on you're embarrassing OUR oil.
Bush and company could fuck up a wet dream and a free lunch. Utter FUCKWITTAGES.
