O'neill will be charged and convicted as a traitor.
The Plame investigation will fizzle out.

Rush won't miss a day behind the microphone.

Halliburton will continue to be the sole contractor of everything.

Bush will nominate and appoint 2 RW christian Supreme Court Justices.

Ken Lay will buy another luxury home.

Tom Delay will remain majority leader with a larger majority.

Jeb will deliver Florida to his brother.

The U.S. will attack Syria and Iran.

Diebold will deliver the WH to *.

This is the trend now. This is the direction that is gaining momentum. We are all witness to the corruption of a totalitarian regime. We are like Jews in Germany of the Thirties. Maybe things will settle down. The country just can't continue to be led this way. We've become numb to the horrors of fascism. We think that by utilizing the same system of government, we can resist and regain the upper hand. That government is almost gone. If * wins, we loose what was once a decent country. I feel defeated. I'm sorry.

3. I'm not sure about O'Neill
You'd certainly think he'd wind up suicided, but I doubt that he would have spoken out as boldy as he did if he didn't have something up his sleeve.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if he's blackmailing President Asshole? "George, old buddy, if you come after me, you'll leave me no choice but to reveal some REALLY embarrassing documents. Have a nice day, dipshit!"

4. Nope
The 19,000 documents O'Neill collected will prove Dimbo is a lying SOB but might not come out until after the next selection.

However, the Freepers will finally recognize that 2003 America is similar to 1933 Germany and Dimbo will regret his support of the NRA, lack of support to the Veterans and any assistance the SS provided to an ex-president by law will be limited to trained personnel on parole from Leavenworth.

America can't survive the PNAC.

5. Piffle.
Yeah, it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. With fascists, the country usually has to hit rock bottom before it can shake the buggers loose.

But Italy still exists. And Germany. Spain. Japan.

You go down and you come back up again, chastened for a time.

Go read about what this nation was like in the late 1870s and 80s. It was so corrupt, so heartless, that most of the protective legislation we now have grew out of the revulsion.

So get a grip of your guts there. Rich assholes will always be with us. But they don't always get their way. (Otherwise, there never would have been an income tax, right?)

6. a hypothetical question
you are a german citizen in the 1920's hitler is just installed into power and you know, KNOW what he's gonna do, you have a rifle and an oppertunity to take him out, but it would probably mean your own death, is it worth it?

7. It's that "rock bottom" that worries me the most.
Where is "rock bottom"? The argument that states how much worse times have been in this country just isn't cheering me up much these days. Not that it's anybodies job to cheer me up. By using this logic, the logic of the pendulum, or that things have been much worse, has a wishful, almost fantasy feel to it. Aren't there really horrible people out there that have wonderful lives? Karma? Perhaps. Anyway, thanks for giving me what I was after. I wanted to hear from optimists, and you came in on that wild horse.

8. We need to believe in ourselves
Neocons are expert at psychological warfare and if they can make us believe resistance is hopeless they have achieved their objectives.

Actually as more citizens become alarmed and resist, the neocons and Bush seem to be rushing to put more of their plans into practice. If they felt secure they would just wait until after the elections.

They seem to be rushing the plan to color code air passengers as risks. This is a dangerous plan in their hands because they would be able to keep people they deem political threats to them from traveling around the country and, in some cases, from making a living.

They could, prevent campaign workers from traveling or make it difficult.

The war on terror seems to be a war on us and to me makes it seem more plausible that they know they could have prevented the 9/11 attack-they just don't act as though they are focused on going after real terrorists.

Sounds like the old South Africa where blacks were prevented from traveling, or the Third Reich and its color coding of certain groups.
