AFP story made same claim as O'Neill in 2002
America ‘Pearl Harbored’
http://www.americanfreepress.net/12_24_02/America_Pearl_Harbored/america_pearl_harbored.html

"The huge increases in U.S. military spending that have occurred since the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, were planned before President George W. Bush was elected by the same men who are pushing the administration’s “war on terrorism” and the invasion and occupation of Iraq.
Billions of dollars in additional defense spending are but the first step in the group’s long-term plan to transform the U.S. military into a global army enforcing a terroristic and bloody Pax Americana around the world. "

"“This is a blueprint for U.S. world domination—a new world order of their making,” Tam Dalyell, British parliamentarian and critic of the war policy from the Labor Party said. “These are the thought processes of fantasist Americans who want to control the world.

“This is garbage from think-tanks stuffed with chicken-hawks,” Dalyell said, “men who have never seen the horror of war but are in love with the idea of war. "

1. This is what happens
when you have Rupert Murdoch owning so much (including Fox) and GE owning NBC, MSNBC.

We need a free press. Not just one for internet people; one for all the people.

Stop the corporations and the mergers of the press! This is outageous.

3. Think US Media will note confirmation of Bush Oath of Office violation?
Edited on Tue Jan-13-04 10:16 AM by papau
We have the Brits confirming - we have the US State Dept Dept's Greg Thielman confirm this morning -

But our media is paid to put out GOP fires

I do not expect our pundits to do more than write up stories about how this will not affect Bush or the election.

Those morality stories - investigations to expose wrong and bring to justice - only apply to Dems.

The mediawhores are today saying nothing.

Seems the word impeachment - for lying to get us into a war and getting our kids killed - is not part of the vocabulary when doing a story on Bush.

Everyone lies EXCEPT Bush.

It's like the poll that indicates Married Rupublicans are the happiest people in the world. I guess if you like war, recession, liars and stealing this is your pRez and you are a pig in slop -- a GOP piggie.

These people lie to themselves to perpetrate their vision of what is right for the world.
