Remember during the 2000 campaign and all the Bush supporters........ |

said, "Yeah,he may not be too bright..but he will have the best advisors in the would to assist him" ? Were they not admitting that he was "disengaged" but it didn't matter because he would have Cheney, Rumsfeld, Powell, and Condileezza to advise him? Now they are saying that is not the case. He thinks for himself. It's a dangerous situation if we vote in such a "leader".

1. Condi? she's a relevant as a typewriter repairman |
|
She's a trained Sovietologist; the study of Soviet Cold War military, propaganda, and foreign relations. She is a very smart (but not too bright apparently) woman but apparently no one read a newspaper telling W that the Cold War is OVER!
This is like a light switch with them. Remember how Drudge and regular media had all these pictures of W hard at work on his SOTU speech last year but as soon as the 16 words issue came up he was not so involved.
Yes he actually warmed himself to those who liked that fact that he is not well traveled, or well read, or even intellectually interested but HE IS A STRONG LEADER, HE MAKES THE HARD DECISIONS IN A DECISIVE HARD DECISION KIND OF WAY.
Complete BS. The thing that I think will really come out of the O'Neil thing is that W will be exposed as a speech reader who raises campaign funds and that is about it.

That scared me just as much as if GW even thinks.
An intelectually lazy President is never a good idea.

3. And then they were saying (later) "He's smarter than he lets on." |
|
Well, if he's so secretly smart, he must be hiding it from everybody, including the people who graded his tests.

4. I followed the 2000 campaign |
|
pretty closely. Nevertheless, it is likely that I missed things. My memory isn't all it used to be, either. But I have absolutely no recollection of any Bush* supporter saying he wasn't too bright. do you have a link?
Thnaks.
