Headlines should say : Bush Changes Reason For Iraq Invasion- Again |
|
* First it's an imminent WMD threat...45 minutes from the "mushroom cloud" (as our Representatives were briefed in DC)
* Second it's about "democracy" for Iraq...that's the goal.
* Now it's ...because Clinton's policy
If we had a media which just shared "the above"...and could connect a dot to Cheney's energy papers ...we would have people calling for impeachment.
The question is...can the media share any truth to this deliberate lie for oil?

Criticizing the president might lead to a decline in viewship, which means less ad revenue. And it would definitely lead to a less friendly FCC (new FCC motto: "When we say 'public interest', we mean 'corporate interest!'"). I'm not alleging that journalists think that way. Their bosses think that way, and journalists know it, and journalists want to keep their jobs.
