when neo-cons write fiction
boston globe has this article about how gingrich, lynne cheney, richard perle wrote racy thrillers etc for a living before hitting the big time after the stolen election. here's an extract:

"Lynne (Mrs. Dick) Cheney's satirical third novel, "The Body Politic," concerns a Republican vice president who dies of a heart attack during sex with his mistress. His wife takes his job. "The Body Politic" was first published in 1988, around the time of Dick Cheney's third heart attack. It was rereleased during the recount drama in November 2000, right before the veep-to-be's fourth."

1. Do they mention O'Reilly?
Franken has a running joke on that in his book. This sex scene he clips from O'Reilly's thriller novel. Nothing funnier than bad erotic writing, and O'Reilly is about as bad as it gets.
