Franken officially signed on to liberal radio network
I loved this part:

Franken, who has established himself as one of the country's leading conservative-bashers, said: "My first priority is to get sued by a right-wing jerk in order to generate interest in my new show, 'The O'Franken Factor.' Our hope is to do drug-free talk radio, although I understand it's never been done.

"Quite simply, my plan is to alter the political landscape, drive this radical right-wing president from office and stand as a beacon for ordinary Americans who work hard and play by the rules. Short of that, I'd just like to get on in Albany," he said.

2. This is, IMHO
far more important than whether Dean, Clark, or Kerry is running. Having 24/7 partisan media representation is crucial. Like it or not, we are running as much against limpballsoreillyhannitygallagheringramcoultermedvedschlessingernorthliddyweineretcetcetc as against SmirkRove.

I don't really want any non-partisan liberals on either. Or at least unless they are ready to channel their energy into defeating * first and chasing their dreams second. I want 24 truth about Smirk. Anyone on our station who says "there's no difference" should not be asked back the following day.

Franken, Malloy, Hartmann, Werbe (maybe), Randi, Donahue, Skinner for talk. Faux, Henwood, Krugman as guest economists. Corn, Fisk, Cooper, Vanden Heuvel on Washington stuff. Hightower and Parenti on polulist/labor issues. Schaecter, Miller, Alterman on media issues.

Without a voice none of our candidates stands much of a chance. With one, Smirk will be swept away.

5. I hope he was kidding...
about 'The O'Franken Factor'. Please tell me he was. If not, he need's another name. Remember, imitation is the highest form of flattery, and if our network tries to make its shows parodies or imitations of the repugs' shows, then what are we really saying? I think we would be giving them more legitimacy than they think they already have.

We need to do our own thing and forget about those bas*****! Let them imitate and parody us!
