From Randi Rhodes today......... |
|
I can't say that I don't believe it but........this business by the Bushtapo about going to Mars and the Moon was to me a real head scratcher until Randi explained th whys and who-fors.Guess whose companies stand to gain if we do go there?Correct Haliburto and another one of James A.Baker the thirds'.It seems that they think there's gold in dem dar hills ,black gold Texas tea. They want to drill for OIL!!!!!!How much is enough for these people? They already are making fortunes on oil prices here,NOW and private deals in Iraq.Man how blatant how arrogant. They don't even care anymore who knows what they figure the press is afraid and won't report it anyway.Randi is quoting a Joe Conason article that spells out the whole smelly deal. Here's Randi's link to listen live right now.....

1. Why would there be oil on the moon or Mars? |
|
How would it form, since there has never been plant or animal life on either of those worlds?

|
Amazingly stupid...
Seriously, if our nation needs a major 'project' over the next 20 years, how about a WAY TO GET OFF FOSSIL FUELS??? Has any issue ever been more important to our country???

10. We don't know enough about Mars to know whether or not |
|
there has been plant life there or not. We do know that the surface shows signs of having liquid, presumably water, acting on it. So it is possible that at some point millions of years ago plant life was sustained.
Nevertheless, it would seem to me that the probability that we would find oil or other products that could be usable would be near 0. How could you possibly haul sufficient quantities of coal or oil back from Mars and land it on earth, and not have it cost you thousands of times more than the value of the energy that you retrieve?

for the mission, and Haliburton will make all the profit. Where is the outrage over this? Good grief
