"To the moon and beyond?" What is Bush thinking...
oh, that's right, it's election year. He's thinking votes by his big Lockheed-Martin friends. Would love to hear what John Glenn thinks of this.

What a waste of taxpayer money.

2. It's a Buzz Lightyear thing, right? "To infinity and beyond"?
bush is slipping into senility faster than Raygun! Next thing you know, he'll be quoting the Teletubbies. I guess the propaganda was right after all, don't do drugs, drugs are bad, mmkay?

7. The Bushies are thinking about money laundering
Bush is thinking that this space program is a smokescreen for funneling money for black ops to the military, baby. That's what he's thinking. When you try to figure out the Busheviks, you gotta think like a criminal.

9. Maybe...
... but maybe he's trying to spend every cent in the treasury so that the government can't do social security, education, welfare, and so on. He's essentially privatized as much as he can over the past three years, and now he can force people to go to private charities, for instance, because the federal services will be bankrupted.

Thinking of Jackie Gleason and paraphrasing... "You wanna go to the moon, George? One of these days..."
