S. 1980-Where are the cosponsors?
Bob Graham introduced this bill, which accompanies Rush Holt's worthy H 2239. However, he has no cosponsors. I was hoping that we DUers could all email, mail, or call our senators to tell them to cosponsor this bill.

Please keep this kicked to insure fair elections in 2004!

1. It was introduced right before adjournment
Hopefully it's been picking up support during the break.

3. January 20, the Senators will return and we can campaign
January 20, the Senators will return and we can campaign for co-sponsors.

I already called Senator Mark Dayton when he was on Minnesota Public Radio a few weeks ago, and he says he supports S 1980, the Voter Confidence Act.

4. It need not wait until then.
I was on Thom Hartman's show last Friday, while Bernie Sanders was on the show. The show is archived at WhiteRose. My segment is about 5 minutes, starting at around 1hr 38minutes into the show if you want to listen.

Why listen? Because of the conviction with which Sanders instructed all of us to carry this challenge.

What does he suggest? Coalitions of people, going to legislators local offices, and meeting with staff.

So I say again. It need not wait until next week, there are 2 days left this week... Go forth and communicate!

Another action item is organizational endorsers. We have a form, linked from the front of the site, where organizations may endorse the bills. Those endorsements will help Graham and Holt move the bills forward.

6. I'll kick and call, again
Keep nagging, Greg. Duers have good intentions, but sometimes they need a bit of a push to lay down the mouse and pick up the phone.

Let's go gang.....your country needs you.
