I need a link of evidence of a minority facing tangible consequences for.. |
|
perpetrating an act of racism. I'm AIMing with my Freeper cousin and he seems to think that only white people have to own up to their actions. He's cited Trent Lott's demotion, Rush's firing from ESPN, Jimmy the Greek, etc. and I want to lambast him with evidence on the other side.
Surely, someone can give me some examples to Google so I can send him a link. I want to watch him eat some crow.
Thanks in advance!

I'm trying to think of when a minority has committed an act of racism.
Does you cousin write angry letters to the Chappelle Show?

but it's important for people here to understand that it's considerably more difficult to find minorities who are perpetuating acts of racism (which is different than just expressing bigotry) since so few minorities are in a position to exercise this kind of power over others and, even when they are, it is highly unlikely that a minority with racist tendencies could ever have been permitted to achieve such a position.

5. All those Black kids who went to prison for the Central Park Rape -- |
|
Edited on Wed Jan-14-04 10:25 PM by Vitruvius
the only catch was THEY DIDN'T DO IT -- as DNA tests now have proven. But they did "go to prison for perpetrating an act of racism" -- and railroading them helped the careers of some not-so-scrupulous cops, ambitious prosecutors, and sleazy politicos. It also helped the sleazoids at the New York Post -- who sold a lot of papers prejudging them in the press...
Your freeper friend should be reassured to know that the justice system shows no mercy whatsoever to people of color -- whether they're guilty or innocent... <<sarcasm off>>
