Poll question: Read or Post?
Whoops! Something happened to the GD: 2004 Primary forum. (Jan 14th 2004)
It appears that something has happened to the GD: 2004 Primary forum, and it is not currently available.

We are aware of the problem, and we are working to fix it. While that forum is gone, you are still NOT permitted to Discuss the primary in the regular GD forum.

In the meantime, please consider going to do something useful for your candidate of choice, rather than flaming on an Internet message board.

Once we get the forum back up, we'll discuss what we're going to do next in there.

Thank you for your understanding.

I don't know if this is "appropriate" for posting. I am just constantly amazed by what appears to be a lack of readership here sometimes.

Poster or Reader?

1. I'd say I probably read about 4 to 10 threads for every post I make,
on average, which means I've probably read somewhere around 50,000 DU threads in the past few years, now that I think about it... yikes!

I can stop anytime I want, though, I think. Maybe.

2. I just don't think I would know
what to 'say' if I didn't 'listen' to someone else now and then ...

I'm not trying to criticize anyone .. maybe enlighten?

Communication is a two way street.

5. after reading your post
and thinkin' on it - YIKES! is right. That's GD scary to think I've read all those items. YIKES, YIKES!

Somedays I don't post @ all. I just read...especially LBN. I get my news here first by following the links. I haven't watched whorporate news, read a newspaper or news magazine in years. But I am better informed because of it and DU!

3. I seldom post to DU
but I read a lot of threads in several forums every day. DU has become my primary source for information. I've also been telling all my friends to check you out. It isn't 'always' wonderful, but often it is down right incredible! One of these days when I have some extra $, I'm actually going to JOIN up! (Right now I'm giving all my extra pennies to Kucinich.)
