He pretty much explained why he doesn't switch parties. Jon basically said, "Dude, you are a Republican!".
Zell told Jon that his parents were Dems and that is the way he registered too. When Jon asked him why he didn't change, his reply was along the lines of WHY CHANGE NOW?
