When did Bush move to Texas?
I know that Bush was born in Connecticut... but when did he move to Texas? As an adult?

I know that many people vote for Bush just because of his good 'ole boy image. I find it funny since he was born in Connecticut, went to high school in Massachusetts, college in Connecticut...

curious to know when he miraculously became a good 'ole boy.

I searched online but couldn't find when.

2. Frankly, it pisses me off...
I don't think he should get to call himself a Texan.
As an honest to God, born in the state, lived here most of my life, TEXAN, I think he needs to cut it the F out.
Makes the rest of us look bad is what he does!

3. Not a real Texan
I thought true Texans love football most of all - while Bush* is a baseball lover, true to his New England roots.

5. Still doesn't make him a Texan
You can put a saddle on a cow but it still doesn't make it a horse.

7. The former governor of Maine..
was on Bill Moyer's program NOW a few weeks back. He was not from Maine and was overjoyed when his son was born. He said he told someone his son when his son was born that his son was just born in Maine. The guy said, "Just because the cat had kittens in the oven, doesn't make them biscuits." And you thought Texan was a hard thing to earn from a Texan.

6. ok, my memory is failing me now. But back when Poppy was in
office, wasn't there a big controversary because Bush Sr. registered in Texas. And there was something about Texas having cheaper taxes. If I remember correctly alot of people were bitching, because Poppy should of registered in Conn. I know I got something in this, completely screwed up. I wasn't much into politics back then. I just remember a cartoon that was in my local paper about it.
