Very Much Concerned By The Next OPEC Meeting |
|
I was skimming thought the world news this morning and ran across a brief interview with an oil minister from somewhere or another. He hinted ever so slightly that the next meeting's agenda might hold a suprise, a deadly one for the US economy. The tone of the interview, as brief as it was, gave the impression that a switch from the dollar to the Euro might be in the cards.

1. The US has had almost a decade to deal with this "surprise" |
|
Instead we preferred to deny, spin, finance coups, impose sanctions, wage wars.
It's going to be UGLY. Everyone is dumping the dollar and neither Bush nor Clinton was able to stop them.
Pretty soon we'll be pushing wheelbarrows full of useless paper bills to buy toilet paper like the Germans were doing before Hitler appeared on the scene.
I really hope things don't get that ugly for us but I'm not optimistic. We're doing everything wrong.
The US as we know it is dying. I am sorry that only one candidate has understood that unless we change our entire MO now, we are in a *&^-load of trouble, and also sorry that too few are understanding this.
Peace
