He makes a point of reminding everyone that part of being a new Yorker is the ability to roll with a punch. 9-11 was a tough blow for the whole country, but especially hard on the city. But you'll also notice that they were probably the first to pull themselves up and get back to the business of living. I will always remember the performers from the Broadway plays all together in Times Square telling the whole world the NYC was once again open for business.
