Edited on Sat Jan-17-04 09:01 AM by psychopomp
I really like this site; the flash animation is spot-on and this time the work targets the Plame leak. Smart and funny. Check it out! I don't have any connection to this site, but do have a look at this outstanding workedited to make the Subject line more accurate

1. Too light for GD but too politically topical for the Lounge? |

(Sorry, I had a little trouble deciding where to post this.)

Yes, it's funny, but there is a lot of information (and some innuendo) mixed in there.

I do have a connection to this site. Thanks for the unsolicited posting!
It was supposed to end with Bush publicly vowing to hunt down and smoke out bin Laden, the anthrax mailer, (and at the time it was written, Saddam Hussein) but conceding we may never know which member of my staff betrayed the CIA undercover agent. It just got to be too long. Maybe I should add that bit.

7. I've been going there since 2002 |

There is plenty of work there that is great, but as far as the animation is concerned, I think "Get Stupid" is the best thus far.
I figured that Too Stupid to be President would not be able to shoulder out the other, likely better-known, nominees in the 2003 Political Dot-Comedy Awards, but I prefer it nonetheless.
That being said, sometimes it is a long time before new material comes out, it seems. The more prolific nominees had an edge there.
Anyway, great work to those who put those animated shorts out and let's hope the site has a November expiration date! edit: spelling

8. Hee hee, that was great! |

And whoever wrote it even explained WHY they did this...seems many people don't understand it. Even Novak fucked up the plan in his article...started talking about "nepotism." Stupid.
