Is it so good that people in the Twin Cities should write letters to our PBS stations to ask them to add it?

He has a radio show on NPR. It's a bit uneven but not bad. If you don't get his radio program in your area, I can give you a link, and you can have more basis for deciding whether or not to approach your local PBS station.

just be careful though, 'cause it's sponsered by Walmart, and you would'nt want the 'Walmart Police' coming after you.

Sometimes I think it would be better if public broadcasting didn't have corporate sponsorship.
But in the UK and Australia, where public broadcasting is completely government funded, there is talk of ending their funding whenever they run stories which portray the govt negatively (like reporting a source said that the Blair administration added the claim that Saddam could launch wmd on 45 minutes notice to to a report to make the report more dramatic).

5. Yes, last night discussion was about MLK |
|
It was great. Judge Roy Brown talking about who really did kill MLK. But that's not the show that's listed.

My pbs station just recently starting carrying his show (ironic, since he graduated from the U. which does PBS/NPR here, and they didn't carry his show on public radio...)
He comes off, to me, as a regular guy, which is nice.
He asks interesting questions, but takes pains to acknowledge various opinions on issues.
Charlie Rose asks better questions, imho, but then again, that also has to do with interests I have in some of the guests Rose books.
