Take heart: latest re-elect numbers are very bad for Bush!!!
From pollingreport.com:

Time/CNN Poll conducted by Harris Interactive. Jan. 14-15, 2004. N=1,003 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3.1.

"If George W. Bush runs for reelection, how likely are you to vote for him: very likely, somewhat likely, somewhat unlikely, or very unlikely?"

Jan 14-15 2004 May 2001
Very Likely 30 26
Some-what Likely 19 17
Total Likely 49 43

Some-what Unlikely 12 8
Very Unlikely 36 42
Total Unlikely 48 50

Not Sure 3 7

Observations:

There's no way Bush is a shoo-in for relection with numbers like that. He's hanging by a thread.

Unlikelys are more confirmed in their position than likeleys, 36 % VU versus 30% VL.

Bush has only very slightly improved his position since May 2001 - 9/11, Iraq, the Medicaid bill, etc., has barely improved his standing.

All we need to do is nominate a credible alternative to Bush and keep the spotlight on Bush's miserable presidency, and we win.

SO NO MORE WHINING ABOUT HOW BUSH IS A SURE WINNER! NO MORE LOSER TALK! TALK LIKE WINNERS, WALK LIKE WINNERS, BE UNAFRAID!

3. Don't get too excited...
Time/CNN Poll conducted by Harris Interactive. Jan. 14-15, 2004. N=1,003 adults nationwide. MoE ± 3.1.

What this means is that the butt-heads at Time/CNN did not bother to survey Registered Voters which would be more accurate.

And they did not bother to survey Likely Voters, registered voters who have votes regularly in the past. This is the most accurate.

These surveys of "adults" are as accurate as Jay Leno's "Man on the Street" interviews.

The only survey less accurate than that of "adults" is an internet poll:

"Should Dean's Wife Be Campaigning With Him?" Click Here To Vote.

The results mean nothing.

5. this was before some of his new
'reforms' were announced like trashing hubble. Unless he can have Jesus come down and endorse him, his numbers will drop even more.

6. Yeah and?
The criminals still control BOTH houses and who knows how many states. There can be no proper investigations into the dealing of these criminals and we cannot sleep safe till they are in prison and the election laws are changed to prevent a future political coup and takeover of this country though voter fraud.

George Walker Bush is only a front for the real evil growing in this country.

7. Couldnt happen to a more deserving fascist
I cant believe what this creep has done in three years. If people were more informed those numbers would be way higher against him.

13. lets stop worrying about polls.
a marathon winner doesn't run 26 miles and keep turning around. Lets just win this race and to hell with pollsters.

At least wait until September/October to start believing in them. Polls now are about as valid as "Who do you think will run in 2016, and will you support the Democrat?"

CNN loves this s~~t. It gives them something to talk about.
