I met Terry McAuliffe today
He came to Kalamazoo as part of his "State of the American Worker" project, and to meet grassroots volunteers(that would be me).
I tell ya, I was surprised and impressed. He was really friendly, talked to everybody in the room, gave a really fiery speech, ripped the s**t outta bush. The folk were stoked. Not the same guy I see on the Sunday yack fests.
He had to follow our immensely popular State Chair Butch Hollowell, too. We've all met Butch before and LOVE him. I told him afterward that he should try to put more excitement into his speaking 'cuz I saw people sit down a couple times during his talk. Seriously, he can light it up.

3. That's awesome!
Terry slapped Ed Gillespie around the other day on Blitzer's show. However, I hope he lets Dean win the nomination...

4. If he would stop supporting the RNC by defaming our candidates
your report would have been given me hope. But he shoots down our candidates except for Clark and Lieberman, so no, he is not our friend.

5. Ive met him a couple of times. He is very friendly.
But unfortunately I dont think he has a lot of integrity. His actions dont match his words.

I asked him a couple of questions about electronic voting machines and he gave me a deer in the headlights look and proceeded to mention conspiracy theories. I feel confident he would not give me that same answer today.

I think his job is to keep the establishment going and the money flowing.

7. He was asked that very question
He said that the Democratic Party is going to demand a paper trail in the ballots. That they are going to have an observer "in every voting place in the country" and that we will not allow anyone to be intimidated out of the polling place or sent away because their name has been disappeared from the voter list.
He was very forceful and positive.

8. He said "I see a lot of buttons
for our candidates here and that's great. But when we pick a candidate, if it's not your favorite, you've got to put down your sign and pick up the sign of our nominee and go to work."
People loved it.
